Enhancing Patient Inclusion and Involvement with a Top-10 Pharmaceutical Company
Co-produced workshops with lived experience partners and pharmaceutical company

Overview

Egality partnered with a top-10 global pharmaceutical company and National Voices to deliver ten co-produced workshops with company staff and lived experience partners. This cross-functional team co-developed a patient inclusion philosophy that aligns with the company’s strategic pillars and objectives, focusing on how the organisation engages with patients and integrates their perspectives into its operations.

This work laid the foundation for a second phase- embedding the philosophy across the organisation to enhance patient involvement at all levels.

Outcomes

  • A patient inclusion philosophy aligned with the company’s strategic goals
  • A detailed programme plan for scaling and embedding the philosophy across the organisation
  • Strengthened relationships and trust between company staff and lived experience partners
We (National Voices) have developed a great working partnership with Annette from Egality. Her dedication to addressing health inequalities and desire for shared learning has complimented our strategic approach to embedding co-production in research for health and our work together. I appreciate her attention to detail, allyship, and appetite to learn. Annette is a great co-leader and I look forward to learning more with Egality.
